PRESENTATION The 9th edition of Human Factors in Organizational Design and Management (ODAM) International Symposium, organized by research group Trabalho, Tecnologia e Organização - TTO (Work, Technology and Organization) from the Dept. of Production Engineering - Polytechnic School - University of São Paulo, sponsored by the International Ergonomics Association - IEA and supported by Fundação Vanzolini, will be held from March 19-21, 2008 at the Sofitel Jequitimar Resort, Guarujá, Brazil. The symposium with the theme of "Understanding and transforming work for innovation" will provide many opportunities for academicians and professionals from the macroergonomic sub-discipline and related domains to interact with members inside and outside their own particular areas of specialization.
